Native Range: Eastern North America, Pennsylvania

Size: Head and Body: 23 – 30 cm (9.1 – 11.8 in); Tail: 19 – 25 cm (7.5 – 9.8 in); Adult weight: 400 – 600 g (14 – 21 oz)*

Active: Year round

Color and Appearance: Grayish fur with a white underside, color morphs include predominantly black or white individuals

Notes: Gray squirrels are an ecologically important forest regenerator in their native range. They are highly adaptable and have been introduced to across the world, particularly Europe. Outside their native range they care considered highly invasive.
